honestly mate im sure you have to use the frst one im sure karlos will confirm this

this may make it over fuel /lean as the values are far different

the blue smoke is nothing to do with this

Yes you do have to use the Fiesta Turbo inlet air charge temperature sensor. They are unique to the turbo EFI cars.

No it can't be adjusted and no it's not timing causing a misfire.

Was the standard cam in good condition. The Kent CVH35 cam won't be causing poor idle by the way, unless it was missing a lobe or 2.

Get a MAP sensor for the car. It will not work with any other sensor as it's a digital sensor and not analogue like OFAB/Cosworth Marrelli. The car will never run right without the correct sensor on it.

have you taken the plugs out and turned the car over to check the spark ?

if its missing you will never get a good idle!

Did you not read my reply or something? The timing CANNOT be adjusted unless you have 30k worth of mapping equipment, and neither will it cause a misfire.

Get it checked on a wideband!

surely its not worth giving up on it if all it needs is a new map sensor. They're only about £50 for a 2.5bar one from woodford garage arent they? Isnt it gonna take alot of time to convert it back to mfi? I wish it was only gonna cost me another £50 or so to get my car back on the road.

MS is a lot better than OFAB/C but can you map? Or do you know anyone close by who can do it for you?
If not then forget it! lol

I can't understand how you can't afford £200 for a sensor but considering spending anywhere from £500 to 2k on an engine management swap and/plus mapping!
