Default double capacity intercooler fitting??

i have a pace double capacity cooler for my s2,it came on the car.basically the fit is rubbish.there are no fixing lugs on the cooler and where it sits doesnt give the rad a fixing on the metering head side and its very colse to the turbo.is this the way they all are?cos its a bad idea if it is.

They originally came with a fixing kit m8 to prevent the rad moving to close to actuator/turbo, best off making some brackets up to stop the rad from moving and for the cooler

A pace cooler is ok up to around 12 psi and as you say its standard so dont worry about a front mount yet m8

If you want to keep the cooler you have you need to send it to someone who will weld some brackets on it before it rubs through th side of the rad and cuases more issues than its worth having it on there for.

or put some packing between it and the radiator like some hard wearing rubber or something- has done the job on mine but its not ideal.
