pics aren't great, one of compressor housing is of little use to be honest, the overall pic shows it's a cossie exhaust housing, possibly a 2wd cossie turbo, or a hybrid of an escort rs turbo on a cosworth exhaust housing at least.
what is the A/R on the exhaust housing?
if 0.48 it's the same as a stage 3 t3 turbo for an escort.
as for manifold, could just be a casting imperfection, they don't tend to crack as a rule unless running mega lean. If that is the case your pistons should be on the way out too.

whats the best way of checking this? Also is it worth keeping the cossie housing? Reason being, im going to be getting the exhaust sorted (additional hangers and poss a flexi put on) and will therefore be getting a downpipe sorted
