Hi,
I know the fuse thats in the heated seats slot controls something in the fuel system, but what ?
Also, what would you notice if it was blown or not fitted ie. shit idle, missfire's etc ?
cheers, Duncan

my car missfires for a little bit when first started from cold, it also idles really crap, seems to sort itself out though after a few minutes driving
Does this sound like anything to do with the fuse ?

Whatever your MFi engine does from cold or hot is not relevent unless the whole system is in tune and fully working. Then you can compare what it does. Without the system in tune and setup correctly it can do so many wierd and wonderfull things that you couldnt start to list them.

lol well said jano.... every one blames the metering unit for every thing, or the cold start injector... in reality it could be a bad water/air temp sensor, air leak, badly set up, worn injectors etcetcetc. There are so many reasons for a car running badly on mfi.
I would check for air leaks, replace the water and air temp sensors and take it to be set up mate, and after summer you may as well plug your cold start injector back in as it does the job ford intended well enough.
