Any good buying these apex springs off ebay? And is it ok to put em on standard shocks?? What will be best drop 35 or 40mm? Jus want it sitting nicely so no gap between the standard rs wheels n arch.

I had apexi and were fine. They were 40Mm drop and sat nice.Should be what you want. But be warned your inner tyres will wear out nice and quick and you find speed bumps your worse nightmare! Im going from experience but must say the handlin was ace.Yeah stay away from spax unless you like snapped springs once a year.

Lucky. As they did a batch of springs were the paint falls off in under a year.Had two sets snap on the front and rust on the back.I was shocked to find out i wasnt alone.Bumped into at least 3 other people with same problem.Lucky enough i weren driving the car both times they snapped. So i dont use them anymore for that reason.

Hi
I have apex springs -40mm on my rs turbo and dont like it... On my xr3i have -60mm, ( I dont recomend for daily use) not apex springs, but is much better...
So i want to change for eibach or cobra springs, -25mm or -30mm, something like this eheh
regards

I have Apex on my Turbo'd Bonus, i love them! They are one of the only combinations of springs/shocks that sit the car nice and level instead of arse in the air. The ride is harsh, but i found no where near as bad as previous Spax/Koni set ups. I have the -60mm options which is -40mm on an RS Turbo. You MUST fit adjustable bottom arms though to bring the camber back in line so that it drives nicely and doesnt scrub the insides of the tyres!

Just got some apex springs fitted today with some fiesta mk7 titanium wheels today to my mk5 metalic grey freestyle. Looks fantastic! And the springs are comfortable.
