is there any benefits at all to a deisel box? was wondering as mk3 lsd boxes are thin on the ground and the fancy ones are quite expensive

Trouble is mine being a 2.1 produces a fair amount of torque.around 330lbs and think thats half the problem. Now iirc the big power nms car and even stuart collins one are still on a 1.6 so they can get away with a cts stage 2 or 2+ and most of the time they seem ok.

The Fiesta ST uses an IB5 with a bigger 62mm mainshaft bearing as opposed to the 55mm in other IB5's. Saying that just done a ST box with a broken mainshaft so bearings not the only problems out there.

jamsport do a big bearing box for a fraction of the cost of cts ones and nms do there own spec boxes
the nms cars are 350+bhp and they are fine
