I was going to fit an rs turbo clutch to my zetec but when it came to fitting it, i noticed that the two different release bearings act on different parts of the clutch mechanisms. It was about this time last yr but if i remember rightly, using the escort gti release bearing looked like it would provide less leaverage because of it being a wider diameter but the rs turbo one wouldn't fit over the input shaft cover thingy????? In the end i gave up and fitted a brand new escort gti clutch and bearing then ordered a luvly uprated gti clutch thru helix.

i noticed something similar today, the rst clutch when fitted has the fingers on the pressure plate completley flat, and the ib5 release bearing is flat so when it pushes the fingers it looks like the fingers will contact the bearing casing. so woundered it i should use a diferant cover, ill mabye just have to order 1 and have a look.
