Fuel Pump Connectors help!
Urgent help needed on this one.
I bought myself a new fuel pump, its a bosch 0 580 254 941, now the one I took off the car was a bosch 0 580 254 910 and they both use different connectors.
Ill illustrate my point, heres what my old pump looks like:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/NEW-ELECTRIC-P...item35a8e8882c
The new pump I bought looks like this:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ESCORT-MK4-RS-...item563bd168c0
Now the connectors on the car obviously dont fit the new pump? does anyone know where I can get the correct connectors from?

Took a trip down to the local ford dealers (biggest in the southwest) and the parts department were completely useless, its as if I was talking a foreign language.
At first they said it should all come with the pump, and after that he just couldnt really look up the correct parts so im now at a loss.
Ive scouted ebay again and thinks this is what I might need, can anyone confirm this:

just get some bullet type crimps for somewhere like Maplins for a couple of quid and a tool to fit them onto the cable if you chop the old ones off.
like these for example, perfect fit:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/BLUE-Female-Bu...item4a9b25409a
this is a cheaper tool for costs sake:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/CRIMP-TOOL-CRI...item2a06a8c57d
you can get ratchet crimping tools, but cost a bit more, worth it though.

they are still available as I have said your parts man is just crap at his job, they are called something like "wiring repair kit" and are around a tenner a side, do not use bullet connectors they are too big and you could easily melt your engine if it's running more than standard boost..

must admit I did try bulletts on mine and didnt like it, ended up through crimping the old ones on to new wire which kind of defeated the whole exercise. Ive got microcat but cant seem to find them to get a price from ford.

granted i used red ones but in three years i never had a problem.
the originals are bullet connectors, Ford didn't design a new type of connector for them.
