Default Changing my wheels, opinions on these please...

Dont want to go any bigger than 16"s as 17"'s are horrible to drive with and I imagine even more so with my newly fitted quick rack!

Was thinking about these Mondy wheels........

Cheers!

The st wheels look cool in the pics, but i reckon i prefer the 5 spokes.
Tried and tested and look good on most things!

The 5 spokes are a bit 'old hat' now imo and the other ones are bloody horrible mate (just being honest not a cunt lol)......i reckon some motorsport inspired wheels would be the ticket, if you want 16's i'd go for some multispoke ones as they'll look bigger

Do a picture of the 5 spokes in anthracite mate, think they would look sweet on a red cab..... just like yours in fact

Or some rally slag wheels (no idea why).

Red and white is not a good combo (just my personal opinion, others love it), think anthracite would still look the donkys doodles.

All about personal choice mate, one negative other than my own opinion would be how quickly they get dirty..... with brake dust and shit.

Think it will look pretty sweet what ever wheels he fits

Karlos, I swoped my mondeo st wheels and tried them on my cab and hated them. They made the car look really old and dated, But i suppose the the big walled tyres on them didn't help. I would either stick with what you have got or go mondeo 5 spoke

Use real 8x16" Cosworth wheels and never those Cosworth-Illusion ones.

I don't like the Mondeo V6 also.

Anything else?

Personally Karlos I would still keep the 17’s but go for a different set but I wouldn’t go any smaller other wise if will make your cossie body kit look too big and your alloys too small it just won’t suit it afterwards, but the Mondy wheels do look nice.

get some old skool momo arrows or something to go with the old skool kit, really disliking both of the mondeo offerings above!

can u honestly whole heartedly say u wil notice a big difference between 16s and 17s? if u can then fair enuf, its just 99% of people who use these as road cars just say it to follow the herd lol

tbh i never liked mine on 17"s looked the bollox but didnt like the drive on todays roads

ive personally never driven an rst on 16"s so cant put any input on that, but they drive so much better on the standard 15" rst affairs

I say momo arrows to for a old skool look and matching the era of the car and illusion bumper. Mondeo spokes look good to, they're so popular on fords because they're tried and tested and work so well.
Dont go for anything motorsport imo, your cars a cabriolet and so is a showy car, not a track slag etc.
One choice i was going to say is what ive gone for on my red rs turbo for a old skool cool look and that is 17inch wolfrace voodoos. The 6 flat straight fat spokes just look so cool......imo!!
