hi guys

can you run a stage 2 or stage 3 turbo on a standard engine as my turbo has started smoking and on a look out for a new one

any help would be greatfull

Stage 3 will be a lag monster though, just bear that in mind.

Agreed as mine is laggy it's on power by 3800 IIRC around that anyway

thanks for your replys which one would be better stage 2 or stage 3 dont really want something to laggy though

Stage 2 as what karlos has Good for 230-240 IIRC

But i'd go stage 3 IMHO it's a lil laggy though but not bad bad 3k she's winding and about 3500+ she's on doing her job

But it's not only turbo's that cause lag some cam's add to the effect mate

So gotta keep it good all round if u want a nippy yet powerful RST

cheers mate would i need a front mount intercooler to run a stage 3 as i got a pace double capacity on my car at the moment

Hey mate,

Depend's on what power and boost your aiming to run

But imo i would use a FMIC if your going above 15psi of boost

Some people say you dont have too but i would

stage 2 mate.you dont want lag.beats the point of having a rs turbo.

Agreed best power and less lag factor,

But the point of owning an rst paul? There turbo's and a side effect will alway's be lag

Don't want any lag buy a N/A engine

stage 2 and ask them to trim fans a bit more should spin up a bit quicker

John John John.lol.ive been in sum laggy turbos,they aint much fun to be honest.i like the way my boost kicks in low rpm and keeps going to the redline.i dont want n/a engine,you mad!
