I'm also interested in seeing a few pics of some 16's as I'm looking to replace my Team Dynamics due to excessive rubbing at the rear.

A few questions:

How much has your car been lowered?
Are tyres cheaper for 16's?
Do they handle well?

Big-Dan.

Gotta be cossie rims in 16in as the top choice, most other wheels are available in other sizes. I know the cossie rims have been copied in 18in but not really user friendly on an RST.

17ins are too big imo, especially if they are 8j as well. Problem is that people try to lower them too much which makes the handling worse than the fact of having wide wheels.

Yeah 8j like cossie rims, ran really well overall did rub a bit sometimes on lock but no big issues. Hardly had wheelspin with a ZVH so was quite impressed.

They're 16's. I can't remember the offset now tho. Was ages ago I got them fitted. They sit the same as the std wheels tho. Fit inside the archs.
I have 195,40,16 toyo T1R's.

yeah, was lowered 60mm on 3 dead shocks and didnt rub. Now 40mm on uprated shocks, so much nicer to drive. 60mm was horrible.

Awesome, cheers for that chop. Might just sell mine and get the 16's then if that's the case, they excessively rub on the back and have cut into the inner arch plastics on the front that's just from a 25mm drop.

They look the bollox though.

Team Dynamics have recently released the pro race 3's. Look very much like comp mo's, but I would imagine about half the price.

Ooooh those are very nice!

Cheers for that chop, think I might get those instead unless the 1.2s come down in price at all.

Haha, I see your logic there, however I think I may just keep them for myself

White or black? That is the question..

Is it an unsual request to ask to see the whhels fitted on your car before you buy them? Surely it happens all the time right?

Big-Dan.
