Default Boost

Hi guys. Wen I put my foot to the floor my max boost is 15 psi but then it drops off quickly to around 10 psi mark is this normal or is the actuator on it's way out.

Cheers joe

Could be many things.......... Boost leak, weak Actuator, Faulty ECU, Kock sensor, or ACT Sensor, heavily worn Cam/Lifters or Turbo.
I'd check in that order

Yes, that or count the number of turns when you take the old one off.

first thought is actuator, i've just replaced my spring in my collins one due to the same problem, it's mint now and holding much more boost, without a bleed valve i could only get 7psi max, now on the actuator alone i'm getting 14psi, open bleed valve half a turn and hitting 16, one and a half turns and it's about 21psi, which is the limit for my ecu's map sensor.
