External ultimately, but it really does depend on application if you will see any advantage at all.

potentially better boost control, on internal setups you can easily end up with the boost going higher than you want at the top of the rev range

not really, although i will be shortly but that's purely as i'm having to redesign the exhaust manifold for packaging reasons, and it will allow me to use bigger turbos more easily in the future.

I will have soon, but my engine bay barely resembles an RST. T4/GT30 sized turbos upwards they are useful.
