Default RS4 steering wheel fittin problems

i have fitted my boss and sterring wheel but i cant seem to get it right, if i tighten the nut the steering wheel will be stiff to turn, and if i slacken it off the setting wheel moves abit then the wheels turn. hope this makes sense, need it sorting as it is horrible to drive,

i would put money on it being the bush at the bottom of the column..under the dash...they pop out when the steering wheel is removed...you have to line in up so it goes inside the column shroud..if you already tightened wheel on chances are you have crushed the plastic bush and will need a new one

i agree, look around that region. Tightening the boss up should have NO effect on steering (ie stiffening it up etc).

Good luck
