As above. Took engine out, rebuilt bottom end, connected everything up now it has no spark. I have 12v at coil pack, swapped coil pack too a known working one and just fitted a new crankshaft sensor. Still no spark![Wall](https://passionford.com/forum/images/smilies/wall.gif)

you should have a 12v at coil as it gets a switch live from iggy it fires by getting a pulse from ecu thats tells the coil to fire hence makes the spark, i'd make sure your getting a signal from cps first as thets the thing that kicks everything in to life, what ecu we dealing with

indeed, start at the cps sensor, if you have access to a scope? or at worst a multimeter you should be able to get a reading. Then work your way back. I believe this goes into an ignition amp somewhere? before the coil any how, this has broken on my old mans xr4x4 a few times.
Good luck mate

Thanks, I will check all when it stops raining. The ecu is OFAC. Anyone know the correct air gap distance between sensor and crank wheel, I just closed it up till almost touching. Could it be to close?
