hi all, ive started to tune my rs escort.
itl have remap, -31 act, recon t3 360 degree bearing, filter, zorst and a front mounted intercooler once its rebuilt. been reading a few threads where people recomend group a coil pack and better plugs and leads when tuning.
looking at around 160 - 180 bhp.
ive already got better leads, what plugs and group a coil pack do u guys use and recomend and what are the benefits of these? and what plug gap do u set ur plugs to? cheers, aaron.

group A coil will give a bigger and stronger spark and will allow a larger plug gap to be used. most people suggest a 1.0 mm gap when running a group A. Think mine is running 0.9mm with no problems.
Burton power is where I got mine from however alot of tuning companies can supply one. Was recommended to relay mine to stop any high rev misfires.
Oh using denso irridium plugs at moment. Hope this helps.
