iv got a rs turbo interior light/clock to fit to my van but need to know what the 4 wires on the plug of the clock are?
also have electric wingmirrors which were fitted by the previous owner, have wiring toboth mirrors, and to where the switch is, take it its asmall loom, however have no power on any of these plugs, any advice on where i need to get power from or what i need to look at

Van is mk 4 btw

red=+12v
brown=earth
brown/yellow or grey/black is lights
the other must be the ignition

Not quite, just checked my loom and there are 5 cables

Red = +12v
Brown = Earth
Grey/Yellow = Lights
Black/Brown = Ignition
Brown/Red = Door Pin Negative

Obviously that includes the interior light wiring too.

The leccy mirrors have a loom of their own, they only connect to the car loom to provide power IIRC. I'll have a dig about and see what I can find.

i am currently fitting 90 spec wiring loom to my escort but the interior clock loom is cut before it travels up A pillar ,mine has 5 wires attached .

the interior clock has only 4 wires

original loom for light has three wires and it doesnt look like the loom im fitting has any wires to interior light ,anyone enlighten me
