right now me and a mate have re-wired the hole fuel pump and put the pump on a two system relay, works fine now but ever since we removed the yellow ans black cable and re-built them correctly and got rid of the old brown earth cable that runs through the car and replaced else where, the fuel gauge has stopped working, i mean, the car has over 25 leters of fuel, super unleaded 99ron, and the nedeal is sitting way under the red, and dont move at all.

Now been told that you need to check the top of the tank as thats where the cable runs to feed the fuel gauge with the correct amount of fuel in the tank. Now i have 25Lrs of fuel sitting inside my tank, i dont wanna drive it and run out of fuel just to lower the tank down to check it.

any advice ?

P.s Me and fuel dont get along, so needs to be a top secrate attempt to ninja the tank

drop the tank and pump at the same time low enough to get you hand in to check the cables, wont loose any fuel that way

the only thing i dont want is 25L+ of fuel in the tank to fall all over me and burn my face, you've seen the program, I was pritty onces and now im ugly. also dont want the tank to fall onto me.

will update this weekend when light is aproved.
