Weird Battery Problem
Ok this could be a simple fix but am struggling to find out what the heck it is
Put the key in and turn it to the 1st turn (for the battery alone) it doesnt do anything. The light doesnt come on for the battery and nothing works.
But then turn to the next one (ignition) it does what its meant to do in other words all the lights on the dash come on
Its just that 1st turn to turn on the battery.
I think this is the reason to other problems im having because the horn doesnt work and neither does the hazard button and alarm.
Any ideas?

Take off the cowling around the ignition switch, and probe the contacts on the back, in position 1 it is accessory ie radio mainly, this has NOTHING to do with the circuit that feeds the hazard switch though which by law has to operate without the ignition being turned on, so check fuses as well, the faults are not related, horns are either live all the time or position 2(normal running engine).
