Hi all,
Just doing some research as thinking of building another engine and thought might be able to use other items.
What other internals can you use i.e. con rods, pistons and crank..
Have read some where that someone has used Triumph conrods???
Thanks
Barney

I'd say why bother? Stick with Standard CVH stuff and EFI it for 200BHP and get forged pistons and rods for more. Standard, within tolerence, cranks will be fine for whatever you get throw at them.
Triumph rods were used in stroked 1600CVH's to get a 1900cc engine. They used to put an 1800 CVH Sierra crank in for a longer stroke, longer triumph rods and IIRC Merc Kompressor pistons.
No point doing that these days. Just use a 2.0 Zetec bottom end.
