Tim be great to have the cars together next year at pod, I really enjoyed Central Day.
Next year will be great with some strong contenders!
With regard to a few questions above,
Sequential box, I had a quote from Sadev for a 6speed sequnetial custom bell housing blah blah blah... BUT two problem.
1- Wont handle any more then 300 lbs/ft
2- 14k price tag
St170 box I was paranoid that my box was getting noisey, so we took the box out and fitted a new one with the Quaife diff. It sounded EXACTLY the same!!
The issue is (almost) solid gearbox mounts/engine mounts and rose jointed suspension.
It just sounds noisey so something I have to live with.... Only issue I faced when at Santa Pod was missing 4th gear every run, would be interested to have a go with a car with short shift to see if feel is better.
Ratios for topspeed on the st170 need to be better!
As for Focus Rs box its a winner too! High horsepower you have to fit one or an ST170 box. Waste of time with anything else!
Next year will be great with some strong contenders!

MTX75 has been fitted for over 9 years to some oddkidd cars. Boxes have been bought for as less as £40 no joke! AND still running now after being in four cars used and abused also one which was rolled in gear and one which was bananafied in a bad hit with a crack welded up and still worked fine. :0 The most expensive part is the driveshafts which you dont want to cut corners with! These cost £500-600 for a pair. Other than that the clutch depending on what power you want to run is the next cost factor. Around £320 will get you a decent clutch which holds to around 340bhp till it slips then the next step is £440 what holds to the max that the CGi 2lt engine with a Genuine T4 and Greys can have no idea on power as the car never stayed on the rollers to find out?
A pic for a little help.
