Default delocking

should i delock my series 1 for security reasons or leave them to prevent possible greater damage should anything ever happen p.s dont think the car quite looks right without them especially the tailgate

Delocking is always a good option not only it looks better with them off but at least it will keep the thieve's from breaking in from that way but I would keep the tailgate lock on just in case of a flat battery or your alarm plays up.

My van was delocked.... they just smashed the window instead. (But alas - it was easier to replace a window than a bent door) I'd recommend one of them alarms that make a beeping noise when you go near the car (something that mine didnt have). Then they'd think twice about popping the locks or smashin the window. And fit a second immobiliser, on the fuel pump maybe, and hide the switch.

Gus what if your alarm was playing up or your battery was flat how would you get in as you have no locks?
