hi i have an old gearbox that makes a winin noise, how much would it cost to rebuild and where would do it, im based in surrey?

i had mine done recently by a place called transgear by me and it cost £150, i dont know if thats a good price or not to be honest

Get a bearing kit off ebay an take it to GMS just off the purley way

i paid around £350 the last time i had mine done, but i did have a new main shaft fitted with bigger bearings, basically like they do at CTS.
have a chat with gearboxman, it'll cost more than a cheap somewhere, but it'll be right and last longer.
