boy on here selling nice spec gearbox,, as ill proberly blow my standard job up when i get my new management im looking at getting a box when one comes up,,, only prob is its in a s1 casing,, does this mean i have to use the s1 mounts and can used the s2 cradle? any other differences ?

a s1 box can be fitted in a s2 as it has holes for cradle.im 99% sure of that.a s2 box cant fit in a s1 tho.im sure ive run in to that problem before.

I had a mk 4 with a mk3 box and it had some form of bracket on it to match up with the mk3 holes, the 4 one the front of the box.

yep, fits in a S2, but can ya cant do it otherway round
