escort rst powerflex anti-roll bar bushes

Default escort rst powerflex anti-roll bar bushes

just bought some powerflex anti-roll bar bushes, any ideas were the best place is to cut them to get them over the anti-roll bar?? or should they not be cut?? as my flo-flex ones are cut at the bottom!!!! any help is appreciated cheeRS

i think you lube them and slide them on

the flo flex ones i had was not cut and i slid them on

Surely it wont matter if they are cut as the original ford ones have a split in them????

I got the powerflex antirollbar bushes an they already had a split in them to slide them onto the bar

where are they split mate???? at the bottom or at the side???

im pretty sure ya supposed to slide them on rather then cut them, but mine are cut on my S1 roll bar so wouldnt see a problem

looks like i wasnt the only one fooled by this, yes they are cut already, but seeing as they are purple and the cut is so fine you cant tell them from being cut or not.
i found out they where cut just before getting the hacksaw ready to cut them.
if you cant find the cut stick your thumbs in the hole and pull them inwards towards you hand.

Just done that mate and mine are definitly not cut!!! there is a very thin line which i presume is where to cut them but they are not cut.

if you can slide them on do it that way if not cut them and fit them that way by the sounds of it it dont matter which way

mine were cut already,was just a thin line down the side and i flexed the bush and it split,i was like oh no theyre fooked but theyre supposed to be cut,look on ur anti-roll bar the stadard ones are cut to
