Default Idle Co%

Hi all im having troublestarting my rs recently with the weather getting warmer etc, basically what happens is the car starts for a split second then stops then i have to crank it over for ages before it fires up. Ive recently fitted brand new injectors and coolant temp sensor and the only thing left i think it could be is the idle co.
I checked the co reading at work and found it to be at 5.5% i have adjusted it down to 3.5% and seems better/quicker to restart but just woundering if anyone knows what it should be/ they are running themselfs?
Cheers in advance!

3.5 is max to pass mot mine was 6 but adjusted it down to 3.5 to pass MOT...5.5 wouldnt cause it to stall it is just a bit rich.

yeah i remeber when i had it set up first time round the guy set it to 3.5% and was ok then and told me i had a weaping injector on cylinder 4 so now have 4 new ones and still the starting issue so didnt know if 3.5 was still abit rich as running out of ideas of what is causing it? i know the tps is working as it clicks when the throttle is pressed and really am stuck! like ya say good old mfi lol!

Hi mate!!

I had got cold starting problems last week and solved it increasing idle speed with idle screw.
I noticed that the speed idle was low.........
Now the car starts at first key turn in cold and warmed.

Rob I just had a thought mate!
Could well be your auxilary air device, it lets more air in for a cold start up and if it doesnt then you'll be really rich, as the weather is warmer the air is thinner so might have been alright in the winter but now it needs that bit extra air or it chokes itself!
