Default Lifting a CVH

My engine does not have the 2 lifting eyes Can someone suggest somewhere else to support the engine when I lift it out of the bottom of the bay?

Even better if someone has some spare lifting eyes and mounting bolt ill buy them off you

Cheers for any help.

Take the head off and you'll be able to lift it out by hand provided you've drained all the fluids

I use a lifting strap with the eyelets at each end, put one round the oil filter, around the engine with the strap and then the other eyelet onto the oil filter also.

remove the head , use a piece of chain big enough for the head bolts to go through.
use the head bolts screwed through the chain into the block , then lift
if i recall , i used the holes around cyl 4
i personally drop the engine and then lift body up with the head already off then slide it out - ive found that in and out through the top destroys your paint and nobody looks under your car....
