Yep. simple as that.
I am building new 1600cvh turbo motor and i need uprated clutch. I ve been thinking ap racing organic set. -8 or -35? I will use 15-18 psi of boost (1.0-1.3bar)
Do i really need uprated quadrant kit, if i buy -8 clutch kit.
How about pedal feel? I have bit fucked left knee because of past accident so i cannot drive car with too hard clutch.
Cheers Antti-Ville

Just to throw another clutch in there i have the CP5354-15 clutch with a standard ford clutch cover to keep the soft pedal and works a treat even with 245lb-ft of torque

I had std cover with paddle clutch in my ex rst and it was light to use but it squeeks and did wear flywheel.
I think i choose ap-racing cp2000-8 and test how much torque it would take, i do not have monster torque because i have only 1600cc engine. If someone could describe how stiff the cp2000-8 kit is to use with uprated quadrant? I think the RST original clutch is very light to use, almoust girly clutch so i can live with bit harder pedal feel.

If your running that sort of power I think a 4 paddle will be better in the long run as it will handle more power and last longer, as for the clutch the Helix 4 paddle clutch is just as good as the AP but is more driveable and softer than the AP that was what I was told by two performance garages I’m getting my Helix clutch fitted this Friday at Jamsport so I will let you know what’s it like.

I have the cp200-35 ap clutch and tbh can't fault it. I'm not running mega power (245bhp/230ft pounds) but it has taken everything thrown at it so far and it does get used hard, track, qtr mile etc. As it uses an organic plate it's not juddery like the paddles, and wouldn't say it's ridiculously heavy imo. From what i've been told it's the cover that makes all the difference in terms of how much torque they will take.
