Default S2 RST Rear window antenna amplifier problems..

Hi there!
I have problems with my s2 rst and fm radio, headunit wont find any stations. I did check coaxial cable disconnecting and short circuit from the head unit and then measured from the rear of the car and it was okay. Next i did change the antenna amplifier unit but still nothing.
I measured 2 wires which connects in the amplifier unit. Colors are red/white and blue/black.
I tried to give direct power to red/white + and blue/black ground but nothing. From the car there is no any voltage in those wires.

Do someone have schematics how that amplifier unit should be connected and how the polarity.

Does the heated rear window clear all the elements?

I am not sure, i did change the rear glass and i think the heater lines are ok.
How about the headunit wiring, does the rear antenna amplifier need some kind of connection from the headunit..?
I have only ground,+12v and speakers connected.

Open the tailgate up with the radio playing. If the reception gets better, then the aerial lead has a "kink" where it goes through the roof aperture.

Hi!
There is no difference if the coaxial cable is attached in the antenna amplifier or not.. And not any difference if the boot is open or closed.

seen people just buy an aerial from halfords and stick it under the dash before. cheaper than pratting around with all that work.

Even better still is to fix the problem rather than adding unnecessary equipment.

Okay, it does sound like the aerial lead is not actually properly connected to the rear of the head unit itself. Even if the amplifier was inoperative, you would receive @ the very least, Radio 2 with the aerial connected.

I would try connecting another aerial (simple accessory one would do) to the radio and see what you get.

Head unit was working correctly in previous car, my mate´s bmw 328i coupe.
Coaxial antenna cable is correctly attached in the head unit, but what i mean:
There is no difference in receiving if the coaxial antenna cable connected in the antenna amplifier in the boot or not.
