efi conversion problem

Default efi conversion problem

hi i have a problen. after the efi conversion the engine starts normal runs 5 seconds and slowly stops. when is start with bit of more throtle the engine runs on higher idle but only for 5 seconds too.

any idea whast the problem?

ok is the map sensor plugged in?is there an air leak?

fuel pump relay wired in? it sounds likes it running of the prime then no signal to kick the pump in! listen under the car whilst it runs see if pump is buzzing?

yes the map is in and i have no leaks. when i turn the key the pump runs. its the turbo ke-jet pump.

do you mean under ignition or cranking?

ignition primes the pump for hgalf a second or so, once the car fires the pump should run constantly, mine did this when i first did my EFI until i ran the wire into the relay. Same as yours ran a few seconds then died

unter ignition the pump runs. when i crank i dont know.

Put power directly to the pump from another battery while cranking and see if it runs then.
