Seriously the difference would be vast you would have to narrow it down

std 1.6 cvh T3 : 8psi = 134bhp (Standard)
but 2.1 zvh T34 turbo @ 8psi would be loads more
As would every thing in between

well my car runs a 1900cvh big valve ported head stage 3 turbo megasquirt 12-13psi and made 225hp 258 ft lbs, yet you see people quoting 260hp from 1600's with weber at 16 psi

Would need to be a pretty big turbo on a 1.6 to make 260bhp at that boost level lol, mine's not a standard 1.6 but made 245bhp at 1.5 bar, mapped on an omex600 ecu.

It might be possible but can you imagine what size the turbo and inlet ports/valves would have to be?!

Yes there is an awful lot more!
Boost pressure is just a by-product of your target BHP and the VE of your engine........it is almost irrelevant!

But what we were trying to say was that there are a lot of 'Pub' BHP figures floating around, and also that RR figures vary greatly.

your right there will always to bull shit figures but thats just life ! you only need to look at most of the ford fwd 1/4 mile time to see that

I never said there was....why say guess what power i've made then 'i'm not sayin cos no-one will believe me'?? As for ford fwd times, that's a load of bollocks mate, doesn't say anythin about power unlike the terminals......
You see plenty of other fwd n/a cars in particular doing much better times with the same terminals, don't mean they're twice the power.

i never said guess what power it made i just asked what people think it could do at 9psi, which is all you could as i only gave you the engine and turbo! and that was my point there is more to making power than just psi.
and i no what your saying about the 1/4 mile but my point is most people claim 300+hp these days and run a 14.-- 1/4 with good suspension and a lsd

p.s it done 270 @7500

270 at 9psi is very good mate with a t34 of that size i'd say! With regards the qtr mile what i was gettin at is simply that rst's in general form don't seem to be a very good car for the qtr mile end of story, which was why i mentioned the terminals, some proven 300bhp cars still in the 14's.......ask christian for example
