I recently bought a second hand metering head from RST broken for spares and I just want to know if it is possible to check metering head to see if it is in good working condition before refit it.

I have disassemble the metering unit and I think that the airflow meter is worn.
The "blocker arm" is very soft and I can move with my finger very very easily getting a rebound when it go to close the air inlet.
Also get a big rebound on arm when I shake the metering head.

ĄĄĄĄĄĄThe other metering head that I have fitted on my Rs turbo don´t do it!!!!!.

will this metering head cause running problems on RST??

 

Pretty hard to tell from the vid mate, have you tried both of them on the car?
