Default engine swap

goin to start strippin my cabby next weekend ready for my turbo conversion , now do i get the turbo (donor car ) set up 1st so i know its runnin right ( not quite boostin right but nothin serious) or do i get it in then get it set up ? which would make sense to me but been told to do it the other way round , just want a general opinion.

i will be doin it with my bro who done his a few yrs back , but ill be doin most of the work as its harder for him to get the free time , now im have enough common sense to bag , label EVERYTHING up ,

anything u would recommend i replace while its all out ?

cheeRS in advance

Scott

I think either way would be ok, but if it were me i'd get it all in then a setup (just incase anything 'moved' whilst I was doing the transplant).
