Alright mate I had a s2 before that would turn over for ages then it would fire up and run fine, it turned out to be the metering unit, if it is still running mechanical fuel injection, worth a check
You need to check the basics mate before you do anything else!!
If it's turning over then check there is a spark and that you have fuel to the injectors and go from there.
