Greetings
Im not currently an RS owner but seein an S1 goin the other way once the bug jumped out and bit me in the ass i cant go back the S2 is nice but what can i say S1 is the dream.
I guess it started with the orion 1.6 ghia put a piper full system on and then some pedal bicker had the bad luck to jump through the rear window
Anyways the S1 is the dream but on my buget its got to come under everyday were and tear. Anyone drivin day to day can suggest proper keepin and basic health for the S1??
Thanks guys

just get it set up so everythings running right and use decent oil/plugs/ and petrol dont boot it till its warmed up (should go without sayin really) and let the engine run for a min or 2 before switchin off to prelong the turbos life, also get some seat covers to protect the recaros and have a major rust hunt and if is all ok then underseal and wax oil it also smear loads of grease around the front and rear arch lips to stop corrosion and remove the body kit to see if any rust is developing and repair if needed then pot rivet the kit back on and use silcone sealer to stop water gettin behind the kit, also get urself a car cover to stop any scratches or cats damaging ur paint work
hope this helps sm
