it is but its easier to do on a mk3 escort, on the mk4 you need to space the subframe with washers alittle and modify the drivers suspension turret to get clearence, the one ive seen was tapped with a hammer,

thatl be me then lol
yeah i cut the whole mounting plate off and then made one up to suit using the original rs2k mount as my cvh one cracked when i was only using the zetec, i also did it so that i could lower the engine so not to cut a hole in the bonnet, so the gearbox and engine are about 10-20mm lower but ive got an rst bonnet with the vent covers so one cover has rubbed a tiny tiny bit on chaincover but will be fine if you dont use a plate.
its not an easy fit, only have space for my pinky finger between the lower pulley and inner wing so its a up from underneath job i felt but id use a ramp if you can as it makes life so much easier as i had to dummy fit it several time to get it right.

2.3 hybrid is a cheap conversion if everything is setup to use the rs2k lump. will give loads of torque and around the 170-180 figure running on the OE system. for best results something like a unichip should be used
