Default need to lower boost

Hello i think my car is running to much boost keeps cutting out when i boot it, can anybody tell me how to lower the boost, will be appreciated.

does you car have a boost controler or bleed valve of any kind?

no, i think i just have to adjust the actuator rod but not hundred percent sure how to do it.

take it to a tuner mate, motor sport developments in blackpool is your best bet

If you simply want to lower the boost, just undo the actuator (held on by a small circlip) and wind the bar so it's a bit longer. This is done from under the car. Make it so the bar is just too short to fit back on, should be about 1/2 a hole out so you have to pull the bar to hook it back over. I know this sounds confusing but when you get under the car and have a look it will become a lot clearer

only do a couple of turns then test it..then if it still to high .repeat....no need to take it to a tunes to lower boost thats ridiculus in my opinion

all there do is what any of use would do....whts the point of paying for somthing if u can do it your self..

If he does it himslef it will be overfuelling like mad for the rest of it's life, may as well have it setup so the AFR is correct and may pick up any other little probs at the same time!
IMO MFI RS's need a setup once a year just to keep things tight, it's £100 well spent.

Do i want to be turning the nut on the actuator bar anticlockwise to lengthen it.

Release the locknut, then wind the rod 'sleeve' that connects to the turbo out to make it longer.
