whats the differance between series1 and series 2 water pumps? is it series 1 has 2 hoses going to it and a series2 just has the 1 hose?
only reason I ask is my cars supposed to have a series 1 engine, and I want to make sure I order the correct pump, mine has 1 hose going to it,

my series 1 has 2 pipes going to it and im presuming it has original water pump..ordered s1 hoses and they fitted right so i presume it has..hope that helps

cheers, mines prob had a s2 pump fitted at some point

MK3 has 2pipes

s1 pump has 2 outlets, s2 pump has one outlet but the actual water pipe has a smaller pipe which branches off
