Where can you get replacement towing eye covers from, I sure there's someone who does decent replicas?

Is the S1 parcel shelf the same as a normal Mk3 parcel shelf? Pictures please.

If the dashboard is cracked, quite badly above and around the instrument cluster, what is the best action to take?

auto specialsists do a replica towing eye cover, 35 quid i think,
not sure about the parcel shelf but i have seen a few dashboards on
ebay before today or alternatively ring up some breakers yards, i
were lucky enough to buy a series 1 with no dash cracks

there is a dash board in fast ford at the moment, 150 quid.

 

How difficult is it to swap over?

it a bit of a drive mate, i went to wales to get my car and
that was far enough. iff youu did you could see the new beast,
y reg 1.3 escort, found it in a farmers field, been parked there for
3 years, just needs MOT ing, its solid as a rock and only 80k on clock
i am 4th owner. what a find?

 

the shelfs are different colours, standard shelfs are light gray, and S1 shelfs are dark gray, same as XR3i.

the dash is easy to change, 2 hour job
