Default Advice needed on a clutch?

Hi hope everyone had a very nice Christmas this year!

Was wondering if anyone can help me, since I had my car chipped about 5 months ago which should be running about 180bhp with 190ft after fitting a Radtec front mount intercooler and a Airtec turbocooler only a few weeks ago and was thinking of getting it tuned up again on the dyno next year to see what the real power is..

But sadly my old standard clutch is starting to slip now, when I’m driving it normal it’s ok but when I put my foot now it slips big time and not sure how long I’ve got left till it actually goes. Can anyone tell me what is the best suitable clutch to go for? I’m not looking to go over 200bhp in the future and not after a very heavy clutch that would break my foot and is it better to get a lightened and balanced flywheel at the same time?

hi mate, lets be honest, if you get it re-set up and the tuner tells you that the cars is running 190 bhp, but if you do x, y & z then 220 is within reach, we both know what you are going to do I would recommend a ap 4 paddle clutch with ahmed bayjoo pressure plate, I hade one of these on my erst, there was no slip what so ever, the peddle was as light as standard and there was minimal clutch judder. If you get this at least you know that you can forget about having to upgrade the clutch again as it will handle up to 250+

It cost me 245 posted from woodford garage 12 months ago as a guide price

hope this helps mate
