I finished an Efi conversion and im driving it for 2 months now but last week the tappets started acting the bolox..so its off the road..originally i just got the head ported and skimmed so its still a standard head......................so the question im askin is what is the most i can do to that head performance wise ie.camsaft, solid lifters..I would be very grateful if i could get info on every aspect of this head as money is not a problem i dont mind... thanks

I think one step will be to change to a new camshaft plus mechanical lifters. The mechanical lifters are a pain to adjust, but I think is the best for the cvh head. If you want to past the 6500-7000 rpm mark, you will need also double valve springs.
