hi, just wondering... what be best for my series 2 turbo.

i need to get a dump valve and a air filter, what would be the best ones to get and where from???????

My advice would be not to fit the dump valve, and go for a k and n panel filter or a standard ford item

Agreed don't waste your money on the DV. Stick with a panel filter.

A K&N panel filter is the best way to go with an Escort RS turbo S1 or S2, as the K&N 57i will only draw hot air from the engine bay, that's the way I see it, but thats the truth, plus if you fit a K&N 57i without the leftside turbo vent cover, it will let WATER into the air filter & cause problem's starting the car, only on an S2 as it's the one with the bonnet vents, thats just my opinion, the S1 will be OK.
