my old superchip'd ecu used to boost cut at about 1 bar, so id guess they rated up to 15psi max

Mine was unlimited boost!

I doubt it as a superchip is simply a standard chip with no boost limit.

i guess theres only 1 way to find out then unless theres any info on that sticker lol

drop it on the car, n if u get thrown thru the windscreen when u hit a bar of boost, its the same as my old 1

well it came with the receipt from the superchips dealer that fitted it so....

Then your "15 psi boost cut" wasn't a boost cut at all, more likely the spark blowing out or something.

it did it on the jamsport rollers during set up too, i wud have thought they might have flagged up such an issue

but either way, its no longer my issue as its long since sold and has been replaced with a turbosystems ecu, so all is well in the world

but for reference, a mate has a chip in his ecu, with DT sticker on it, the previous incarnation of superchips, and this too has a 1bar boost cut or there abouts

cheers for all replies, car runs great with it in and feels pretty quick - needs a good set up now to make sure all is well
