how much to lower by?
got an s2 and it looks standard ride height but looking at the suspension tells me that it has aftermarket bits on. Im thinking that it has only been lowered around 25mm.
Im after something more lower and havent really got the money to afford coilovers yet.
Can anyone post some pics or links of there s2's riding on 15 inch alloys and let me know how much they lowered it by.
Thanks
Chris

My std springs broke in half so i needed a quick replacement, found a set of -60mm springs in a friends garage.
definitely mucks up the handling! understeer can be a bit bad at times! decent set of shocks and a bit of alignment can help, but i would stick to 25mm.

Here is mine im not to sure how low,it may be 40mm or even 60mm but i cant move car now with 17"s as wheels foul the arches now.Doesnt rub with standard rims.
Anyone using 17"s with 40mm drop?

Here's a picture of mine when I had the original rs alloys on, that's a 50mm drop I do have to say it never rubbed at the front even when I had 3 people sitting at the back but I would advice not to go 60mm that will be too much especially if you decide to put 17" on.
