isnt it the unburnt fuel that gets ignited not purely exhaust gas so if your isnt overfueling then theres nothing to light

probably wrong but perhaps your cars are setup properly

how are you trying to get it to flame?

best way ive found is to cane it to near the limit..lift off sharoly then just tap the throttle! tho other peeps swear to lift off slowly and then tap the throttle! maybe its your techniqe it dont just flame willy nilly!

i found i could flame best when u just come on boost then gently lift off, used to leave it flamin then give a blip of throttle and it would spit out big flames
maybe time of year has something to do with it more cold air so less fuel wasted, somethin like that.what spark plug you got in it,was in per-ford somethin about using zetec plugs there longer i think

I can't get mine to flame from still and like James said, doesn't sound good!
I can only get mine to flame when i'm on the motorway and have a good run to get high revs, then drop them slowly, then plant it. It's great at night cos you see everyone backing away from you. One minute everyone's up your arse then they're happy to let you travel by yourself.
You do need to be running your car rich to get the flames as you need the extra fuel to ignite it. If it's running normally then there's no excess fuel for the flamer kit and you might aswell be trying to light snow.

As per jambo,

part throttle til it comes on boost (mine ran 15psi but I would partle throttle so it held 10psi) then just back off the throttle but leave it slightly open. Would flame 9/10 like that.

Why not just get twin45s on a 1600 CVH, it flames like a fuker when coming down the gears or when you rev it to 8000 the back off

essex - tried that as well m8 and still no joy

twin45's - could do that....but my cousins done it already LOL
