Default RS Turbo Radiator?

does anyone know if mk4 xr3i radiators and mk4 rs turbo radiators are the same? i would of thought they are but its always good to check. cheers

the size is the same,only difference being the fans on the back(exhaust manifold side) on a xr3i and on a turbo its on the front because the turbo,s in the way,so the difference is the brackets! including the ones on the right side,a turbo has extra lugs on series2 for the intercooler!

i have a pace intercooler in front of the rad so the fans are on the intercooler, do i have to worry about the brakets for the rad then?

they aint the same length mate the 3i is longer and the intercooler pipes wont go through the gap

they couldnt be more different!like jacko said,there smaller,fatter and u wont fit ya cooler pipes thru

Yeah like everyone says they couldnt be more different! Much shorter allowing for the intercooler to sit beside it.

An old thread to dig up!

converted mfi to efi - I believe I have a XR3i loom. Should the Rs Turbo fan plug fit directly into the loom? I seem to have located the loom plug but it won’t fit?
