Default GReddy Boost Controller

Done a search, but nothing on here to answer my question, so i had better ask it!

Connected my GReddy B Spec 2 controller up, but have 2 questions

1) Obviously one pipe is taken from the turbo and the other from the actuator, but the third, should it be taken from the inlet manifold or the original pipe that came from the metering unit (same as the old amal valve). Which one should it be connected to?

2) I have Defi gauges in the car, and the are showing that i am getting NO boost at all, just goes from -0.6 to 0 when i put my foot down.

The other pipe can be anywhere after the turbo. The pipe that goes to C on the amal valve - C for compressor/turbo can be used. I prefer to take it from after the intercooler, closer to the plenum as this overcomes any boost drop across the cooler. Where is your defi feed taken from? You know u won't make any boost by revving the engine at a stand still?

Yeah i know that mate. Ive taken the pipe direct from the turbo, and the pipe from the actuator, but my question is the 3rd one. (the one that on the amal valve would have come from the bottom of the metering unit)

I would guess it would have to go to one of the vacuum lines on top of the inlet

To the metering unit same as Amal, it's just where the boost controller (AKA electronic bleed valve) bleeds the pressure away from the actuator to adjust the boost up (bleeds more away) or down (bleeds less away).
You can bleed it to atmosphere (ie: dont connect it to anything), but you will have to block off the pipe on the metering unit.

Im not trying to be arguementative, (sp), but that wouldnt make sense as the 3rd hose just goes to the unit in the dashboard and not to the controller that the other 2 hoses goes to. So it has no air it needs to get rid of????

Oh!
That will be just for the Greddy to give you a boost reading so yeah anywhere on inlet manifold will do.
I thought you ment it was a 3rd pipe attached to the controller!
I'm assuming you have the metering head hose blocked off then (the one that did go to the Amal), otherwise it will not idle and run like a bag of shit?

Yeah, metering head one was indeed blocked off. Will put it on inlet somewhere then! Cheers
