red stuff take a while to warm up so unless your track driving theres no point in having them

Ferodo DS2500's - but they squeal a little, Mintex 1144's are silent.

You lot are talking crap.
I do agree about the greens though, they are not up to much the formula they use now is V7, the older V4 was ace, pity they changed it.
The RED and YELLOW stuff ebc pads work 90% perfect from cold, how do I know I use Yellowstuff on my 2wd cos(360bhp) and I do use the performance, even stu from msd uses yellows on his "M" beemer.
I have used most of the pad makes over the years, if you think reds are shit, maybe you broke the cardinal rule of not allwoing them to bed in properly.
I use my car on the road in ice snow all weathers, no noise little dust.
Incidentally the ebc red and yellow are approved by the POLICE for thier response cars, ferrodo are not, ask why many forces use ebc pads.
I get ferrodo free if I want them, but I PAY for ebc yellowstuff I wonder why.

Whilst i agree that the EBC red and yellow are good pads, I i certainly don't doubt the quality of Ferodo.

To be honest I have a set of greenstuff ebc pads fitted to my rs turbo they may look good behind my alloys but they are not that good when they are cold but once I have used the brakes quite hard a few times straight away they get warmed up and I can defiantly tell the different’s they make, do bite a lot better but when they give up I thinking of trying out the red stuff ebc pads.

Here's a quick picture not the best but would wanna get the red pads would suit the gold callipers more better than the green ones.
