I'm not keen neither - however I do have one piece of advice for those contemplating/ done it already. Get bonnet pins fitted! The locks (esp aftermarket chrome items) are notorious for coming open and flipping the bonnet over the top when the rear is raised.

here here dam right
i dont have my bonnet raised but have the chrome latch and when you pop the bonnet you dont have to pull lever to raise bonnet it just lifts up
put standard one on and works fine
i do have bonnet pins thou
i do think the raised look looks pony from the side and everyone use to ask my mate whats up with the bonnet and he said he didnt even notice the temps drop
if your fitting them to achieve a cooler engine i would spend my money finding out why its running hot
mine stays at the m mark and dont go any higher even on the hottest day this year and runs just on the white box on the motorway at full pelt but i do have twin fans and front mount i/c
