me and dad have cured the turbo!!! oil change rad fixed, set it up between us so its worthy enough to get to a tuner. sort brakes now put arches n side skirts on and do gear linkage!!!!

im happy again! i love my turbo.

 

good to hear m8 ..today i put my water punp on and thermastat housing on and cleaned the valves a little bit more....so im just waiting for my haynes to arive....good luck at the tuners man!!!!

 

brakes done. took linkage off pulled it appart worn as fook in that box that the gear stick go's in. opened boot found a bran new box with all the bits needed woo!!!!

cant b assed now im tired. been messin since 7 this morn.

 

did u just say i opend the boot and found a gearbox?????....did u not even look in the boot when u brought the car m8???????????if not why not???

 

ha ha nar not a gear box. its got a recon box neway. theres a plastic type box thing that the gear stick plugs in to, to connect to the linkage, was a new 1 of them with 2 white plastic things with springs n screwe's. theres loads of new ford parts in the boot in un open bags, new spot lights with all fittings, bushes. he orderd them all when ordering bits for a ford transit b4 hey left for a new job. thats where all the bits come from for the engine. got to get the turbo rebuilt, but just found out a mates mrs dad has his own company that builds or recons them? mate said get all the part numbers n he might be able to get it done for me cheap!

am alright! had my 1st lesson tues, instructor said he gonna put me in for my test after 10 lessons woooooooo. wicky wicky dangaaa.

car is gettin there now mate, just gotta finish the linkage, buff the bugger up, get the arches n side skirts back on (dunno how), sort thermostat temp gauge out? as not workin or goin up when earthin brown wire. need new light switch stick thing on steerin wheel, fit radio speakers and amp all ready in boot new! few bits n bats in the iterior, then my pops said take it rally equip in bury to get it set up. whats best engine oil for these things?

 

once i get it all sorted im gonna start cleanin it up then, get a lowerin kit, its got a strate thro 3 inch pipe yeah to the back box but the pipe off the box looks like its been fabricated on as the back of the box looks cut and a smaller pipe put on. whats that all about. it sounds nice but i want NOIZE.

Been out in the rs today!!! bit of smoke at 1st but cleared up after a min, seems ok all gears work fine boost's good!! sounds good! happy.
bit worried about temp gauge tho. tried what people have said on here still nothing. and it seems rather hot under the lid or is this normal for a rs? never the less im happy
